On a Sunday Afternoon

Me and Mike, Bay of Islands, New Zealand Oct 2019

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.

Mike had a hard time sleeping last night, and he was sleeping when I left for church. I got home at 10:30 and he’d just gotten up, but had sat down in the lounge chair and fell asleep again. So I covered him with a blanket

He slept for a couple of hours, then went to the family room, and fell asleep again! I did some work to organize my office/craft room, while he snoozed. That room is eventually going to be organized, but at the rate I’m going it will be a great thing to focus on for the snowy days ahead. I am feeling pleased with my slow, but steady, progress in getting the house organized to my liking. I am really wanting to begin hanging family pictures, and some art work, but I need to wait a little longer for that. It will eventually get done. I ordered some special brackets for hanging curtains, they should arrive in the next week, and I need to decide on the curtains I plan to put up. I have to get 3 sets for the master bedroom & bathroom – so I will be looking for them as I am out doing my Holiday shopping trips.

At this moment I realize I need a small stand, or cabinet, 7-9 inches deep, 30 inches long and 36 inches high. I also need a bookcase that is 12-18 inches deep, 48 inches long and 36 inches high. I may end up doing some online shopping to be able to get these 2 specific items! I love the challenge of finding that off standard item that is just the right piece to compliment a project. Oh! and I want a cream, green (or teal), & grey floral swag 60 inches long and no more than 11 inches high. And the hunt is on! It’s been a great day. Have a good evening.
