Psalm 139:14 I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well.
One of the things I didn’t discuss yesterday…. the doctor wanted Mike to consider using a walker! NOPE! He was having absolutely no part of that. No way, no how! When we got into the car Mike was totally indignant about the very idea. I just hope he doesn’t have to use one because he found out the hard way it would be best (the hard way by falling and breaking something like his leg, or his hip)
But that was yesterday. Today we went to sign papers for lowering our mortgage interest and our payments. This will be a nice addition to the paycheck each month. Mike really struggled with remembering how to form the letters to sign his name, and how to form the numbers to write in the date. There were a ton of papers to do, and each one had a specific requirement. All 3 initials of your name, full name, or full first and last name with middle initial. With the title company person sitting there to make sure we did everything properly, and there was one paper that Mike had made so many mistakes on, they had to reprint it so it could be resigned. However, now it’s done. The new loan goes into effect on the 1st of January and all is well. I believe this will probably be the last official, legal documents, that Mike will be signing anymore. The struggle for him was great.
After we finished the signing, Mike wanted to go to Cracker Barrel and get some lunch, so off we went and then he decided to have a breakfast – no problem, they serve breakfast all day long. Mike enjoyed his meal, and we headed home.
Mike and I spent the late afternoon together, watching tv, and he kept dozing off, so I decided to go to bed early. As I am sitting in the quiet of the room, I hear the rain falling onto the roof, so I checked the acu-weather app to see it’s supposed to have rain mixed with snow for the next 2 hours. We’ll either have a slushy mess in the morning, or slick ice. I was hoping to go get some eagle shots, but I will have to see what the morning brings with it.
It’s been a great day. Have a good evening.
