I Saw the Sunrise

Sunrise, Lake Coeur d’Alene 30 November 2020

2 Peter 1:19 And so we have the prophetic word confirmed, which you do well to heed as a light that shines in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts;

Today I was awake at 2 am and up in time to get to Higgins Point by sunrise. I didn’t see any fog, or eagles, but that was fine. I saw the sunrise and it was beautiful.

I went to coffee with a friend, then I had errands to run, and I also went home to check on Mike – since he was sleeping when I left. He was still asleep at 10:30, and again at noon, and again 1:30 when I decided to just stay home. He didn’t wake up until 5:30 this afternoon, and he’s already ready to go back to sleep! He says he feels exhausted. He started sleeping like this a couple of days ago, and if it continues for a couple more days, I’ll have to call the doctor and make sure his meds aren’t doing this to him.

Most of my ‘necessary’ errands were completed early today, but the Christmas ones, I will take care of many of those tomorrow. I am trying to get the girls each a DSLR Canon T1i, but even used they’re running between $112-$250 I don’t think I want to go that much! I have a couple of gifts to order online, and then my shopping will be complete!

So until tomorrow, I say good night! It’s been a great day. Have a good evening.
