Psalm 103: 1-2 Bless the Lord, O my soul; And all that is within me, bless His holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, And forget not all His benefits:
Me and Mike on one of our hikes
Last night Mike woke me up and I asked him what he was doing, he said, “you were calling me.” “No, I wasn’t, I’ve been asleep, and you just woke me up.” He tried to argue with me, but I told him I was tired and needed to go back to sleep again. A few minutes later the alarm went off and I got up to find out what happened. Mike had gone out to the garage to look for me. I reminded him I was in the bedroom, and he said okay – then he went back to bed.
Today I was totally overwhelmed with Mike’s issues in regards to the medications he’s on! I realize I don’t have a clue about what is what! I don’t know the pain pills, from the high blood pressure pills, from the anxiety pills! And he takes a lot of medications! We ended up back in the ER for the same issues and another round of blood work, etc. They have reintroduced one that might be the culprit to the withdrawing. I need a layman’s handbook of medications! I also found out today that 2 of his meds are narcotics Who Knew???? Not I. This is stinking complicated – and bound to get more so as time goes on. (sigh) I feel so sorry for him, he is so uncomfortable, but hopefully now, we’re on the right track with getting this worked out.
I realize that some of the feeling of being overwhelmed could be due to the fact that I am under whelmed with sleep! Mike woke me 2x in 2 nights, and sometimes it’s difficult to get back to sleep, especially knowing you have a busy day ahead!
I woke up this morning to almost 4 inches of snow – and it’s so beautiful, I love the snow and being out to do photography.
This is looking out the front door to the left! Tomorrow the grandkids are coming and I am so looking forward to seeing all of them! I have a special treat for the girls, they are going to be so surprised, and, I hope, excited!
Even with the ER visit, the interrupted sleep, and my concern for Mike, it’s been a great day. Have a good evening.
