A little confusion

Isaiah 26:4 Trust in the Lord forever, for the Lord, the Lord Himself, is the Rock eternal.

In the higher elevations, there was snow, but nothing in town.

Today was so much better! Mike was awake for at least 6 1/2 hours. He got up about noon, ate breakfast, found a book he wanted to read and he sat and read for much of that time. The grandkids were here today, so I fixed dinner for everyone, and Mike sat at the table with us, he ate a good portion of his dinner, and then he was just done. He stood up and walked away from the table. Besides being awake for longer than recent past, he also ate more food than in recent past! I’m happy about that.

Mike did get confused with the stairway today. Our family room is in the basement, and instead, Mike went upstairs, and then couldn’t figure out where he was. I waited a bit and then asked him what he needed. He said ‘I’m looking for a book.’ (lol) He didn’t want to admit he’d gotten confused.

I have a contractor coming on Thursday to see what remodeling the main floor bathroom would cost – I do need a shower in there! And if I can get that done, then I will begin to move Mike’s bedroom to the main floor of the house, and he won’t have to use the stairs at all.

For now, it’s late; almost midnight, and I have to be up early and on my game, ready for whatever the day gives us. I am so thankful the kids were here with us this afternoon. It helped make the day very pleasant.
