Psalm 119:43 Never take your word of truth from my mouth, for I have put my hope in your laws.
Another of Mike’s sculptures. Titled “Retired”
We have just completed a 3rd really fine day. I went to the doctor and my blood pressure is now normal. I got home just as Mike was getting up, and at 10:45 Tom picked him up to take him to lunch with the guys. Mike says he doesn’t want to go out to lunch as often? I am wondering if the challenge of interacting with others is getting to be a lot for him? He has no problem going with me a couple of times a week, and I thought it would be nice if we split it up and he had some guys around!
Robert came over today and help me do some rearranging in my office, and it’s beginning to take shape now. There’s still a lot to work on, but getting the furniture in place is a big step. Once I get the last cabinet in, then I’ll be able to start putting away papers, etc. My biggest goal, at the moment is to have enough space cleared to be able to work on taxes. My appointment for that is March 16!
The next thing on my list is to find someplace that sells printers and they have the ink also! I’ve had to return a couple of printers after purchase – I ordered the ink through the store where I got the printer, and they have refunded my money saying the ink is out of stock and they don’t know when more will be in! What’s going on????
For now, I am still waiting to hear from the Senior Care Advocate about getting Mike into a program so I can go shopping and it is obvious I will have to wait until Monday for that, I am missing going out with the girls so I’ve planned for Mike and I to go to dinner next Friday night, the 29th and I invited 3 couple to join us. I am happy to say that all 3 have said yes.
Now, as the evening winds down, I am most ready for rest! Stupid house alarm went off again last night, with no apparent reason! I think I’d better put the alarm company on my call list to see if they might possibly know the answer. Good night
