Colossians 3:12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience.
Me and Mike in Australia, on a dinner cruise in Sydney Harbor. A 50th anniversary celebration.
Mike is feeling so much better since he’s been weaned off the 1 medication! He’s getting up more, not so unsteady when he walks and he’s more willing to get out of the house and go for a ride with me. He still goes to bed kind of early, 8-9 pm, but he’s getting up earlier than he has for a long time! This morning he was dressed and up at 8:30!
Mike has been wanting to go to the locksmith to get a key made for the jeep. It has a remote fob for opening and locking the doors. I have managed to keep him from actually being able to order one, so far; but now he seems to be getting really pushy about it. He will go for a couple of days and not remember he wants to get a key made, but when something triggers the memory, he’s wanting to go to the locksmith, now!
I still haven’t figured out what to do to get to church, or to be able to pay bills, get groceries, etc, on payday. He’s still aggressively opposed to having anyone in to be here in case he needs it. I will have to continue to ponder this one.
I didn’t make any progress in the office today. After yesterday’s big push to get some things rearranged, and boxes piled to one side of the room, I didn’t have the energy to do anything in there today. I will make a major effort tomorrow to begin sorting though the boxes of items. Since the room will double as a craft room, the boxes are a variety of items to do with my projects, along with boxes of paperwork to sort and file for taxes. Fortunately, I was able to keep up on the filing much more diligently than I had originally thought.
