1 Corinthians 13:6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
Today, Mike had a hard time understanding much of what I said to him. I would have to repeat very slowly, and enunciate very distinctly. He only left his chair a few time to go to the bathroom, otherwise he just sat there with a book in his hands. He’s turning pages, but I don’t know if he’s getting anything out of what he’s reading.
We had the 4 grandkids with us today – a boisterous group, to be sure! The boys did their online games and I sat with the girls and we discussed their cameras. I got each of them a Canon T1i for Christmas, and today we had time to go over some of the features and learn some of the names of parts, like a lens, or a shutter release, that kind of stuff. Then I had them go outside and take pictures. When I came back in after showing the girls some things to shoot, Mike told me I was a good teacher. The girls were out about an hour and quite cold when they came back into the house. We took the SD cards from their cameras and looked at the photos. After we discussed each one, and talked about other ways the picture might have been taken, it was decided they would bring their cameras again, next week and we’ll take more photos and go over them.
Later in the day, I took the kids to Skate Plaza and they had a good 3 hours of fast moving physical activity! Fun for them, and I would like to have them go more often. That’s the type of activity I enjoyed as a kid and it’s a blast.
The kids left with their Mom about 9:15 – and I could tell they were tired. Poor babies.
At 7:30 Mike decided to go to bed, and now, at almost 10:30, I will be snoozing soon myself.
