Hebrews 12:28 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,

Today was a slow day for both me and Mike. I didn’t get up until 8 am and Mike wasn’t up before 9:30 am. We had a late breakfast, and then just sat and read – and I was on the computer.
I’ve been able to finish the filing for all the paperwork for 2020, and now I am in the process of figuring how much we spent in property taxes, interest on the mortgage, medical mileage, prescriptions, etc. My biggest amount of work for that is to go through all the receipts and sort according to payee. Then I will total the amounts, and put onto the paperwork for the accountant and my part will be done. I still have 6 weeks until my appointment, but I know it doesn’t take much to get distracted and be left scrambling to finish during the last week. My goal is to be completed before the end of February and give myself a couple of weeks for rechecking if I feel I need to (usually I feel I need to, but I never make any changes) So this year, I will have the time for rechecking, but I will also be dealing with medical appointments for Mike and making sure he’s doing well.
I am still amazed at how well Mike is doing since he’s been weaned off the one medication! It’s fabulous. This afternoon he wanted to go for a walk, but was chilled outside, so we went to the mall and did 1 loop around. That’s about 1/4 of a mile and he needed to sit down before we were totally finished, but otherwise, he did good. He wasn’t up to doing a 2nd loop, and that’s okay – a month ago he couldn’t have done a dozen steps!
Mike’s just gotten out of the shower, and he’s turning his lights off; it’s also time for me to turn my lights off.
