Galatians 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.

Today we were supposed to take a car ride, but the weather had other plans for us. So we stayed home and watched as it snowed, hailed, rained, and back again. It pour and pounded. Eventually it stopped and the sun peeked through the clouds. Mike decided he wanted to go to Applebee’s for an early dinner, and we did.
I made a total mess! I dropped a glob of barbecue sauce on my jeans, and I ended up getting my wallet strap in the ranch dressing, without realizing it. So when I went to flip it up to zip the wallet closed, I got showered in ranch dressing! In my hair, on my glasses, on my shirt, sweater, and dripping off my nose. What a total mess it was. I ended up taking a real shower after we got home.
The doctor has increased one of the meds to help keep Mike a bit more docile, he doesn’t seem to be affected by the increase – we’ll see how he reacts when the next ‘flare-up’ happens; or if there will be a flare up. I have to say, just know that things are going to be taken care of has caused me to have a much brighter outlook. I feel as though I’ll be getting a reprieve from the 24/7 watching and care. And I will be. A couple of extra hours a week would be huge for me, and it looks like I may end up getting up to 6 hours a week without needing to be on watch. It would be 2 days 3 hours each day. I’m looking at Monday and Wednesday for my days off. Mike has PT on Tuesday and Thursday.
Tonight, after my shower at home, Mike and I watched an episode of Bull, one of NCIS, and then I decided it was time to call it a night, and turn out the lights. But first, of course, I wanted to update my blog for today. Now it truly is time to turn out the lights.
