Easter Sunday

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Mike and me in Alaska, July, 2012

Another easy day today. I am getting spoiled! Mike woke up late, and napped after breakfast. I sat near him with my tablet, reading a novel. After a couple of hours he woke up, and went to the family room to watch tv, I could hear it upstairs! He watched the 1st Die Hard movie with Bruce Willis. There were a couple of news programs after the movie, and then Mike came to me and asked for lunch – at 4:30 in the afternoon; and then asked what time did we leave for him to go to PT. I told him it was Sunday, and he didn’t have PT until Tuesday, then I convinced him to go out to lunch, and we ended up going to Elmer’s, where he ordered blueberry pancakes.

After our meal, we drove around downtown CDA for a little while, and then back to the house. It was raining steadily and he decided he didn’t want to be out in it, even in the car. Other than saying he wanted to go back home because of the rain, he didn’t say much else to me through most of the day.

When we got back home, Mike asked me to join him watching tv, so I agreed, and I did a little research while some movie played on, and on. I am looking to re-landscape our yard, and I want it to be edible. Instead of rock filled planters, I want strawberries for ground cover, and fresh fruit in season. I have a ton of ideas, and when the landscapers arrive, I hope to be able to have some, if not all, of the ideas implemented.

Mike has now gone to his room to sleep, and I need to shut down and turn out my lights, also
