1 Peter 1:7 that the genuineness of your faith, being much more precious than gold that perishes, though it is tested by fire, may be found to praise, honor, and glory at the revelation of Jesus Christ
Mike and me, on an adventure. I don’t remember where.
Today was busy for me. I had a guy come and do a drywall repair in the garage, and while that was going on I cleaned the house, and got ready for a tea party I am co-hosting. I did my baking – cranberry orange scones, I made chocolate covered strawberries, I made clotted cream, and all is ready on my part.
My friend, who is hosting with me, came over with her tea things, cups, saucers, tea pots and all is set up now. She will be here tomorrow around 10:30 and the guests are to begin arriving at 11.
Through all this, Mike mostly stayed in the master bedroom, with the tv on. Initially, I had to close the door to the bedroom because he had the volume so loud! I think he must have slept a lot today. He told me he wants to do some drywall work in one of the guest bedrooms, and I asked him why? He couldn’t remember.
Mostly the day was spent preparing for tomorrow. Mike didn’t want to go anywhere, or do anything, he just wanted to lay on the bed with the tv on. I offered to take him for a drive, but he turned that down, so I continued with my day.
I am anxious and apprehensive about our visit to the neurologist on the 16th. I hope, and pray, Mike takes whatever news well.
7 days until the next neurology appointment.
