Psalm 22:22 I will declare Your name to My brethren; In the midst of the assembly I will praise You
Mike got up at 9:30, sat on the sofa and immediately fell asleep, for 2 hours. He woke up, got a cup of coffee, and went back to sleep for another hour. Finally at 1 pm he got up, and decided to mow the lawn; but 1st he needed fuel for the mower – he got angry with me for not giving him the keys to the rental car – I told him he wasn’t on the rental agreement and he was really PO’d!
We got to the gas station and he yelled at me to give him money to get fuel. I got my wallet out and handed him some cash, and then he was angry because he couldn’t figure out what pump we were on; when he got back to the car, to fill the gas can, he tried to open the door to fill the tank on the car. I told him he wasn’t going to put fuel into the car, just into the gas can. He yelled at me and said, “I know that! Do you think I’m stupid?” All the while he’s pounding on the door to put fuel into the car, and it won’t open. I got out of the car, and opened the back end so he could get to the gas can. He set it on the ground and then put the end of the nozzle into the can, but nothing happened (he hadn’t pushed the fuel grade button) so he yelled at me again! I got out of the car again and pushed the closest button so he could fill the can and I was almost in tears by this time.
When he got back into the car, I asked him why he was so angry with me, and he told me I was imagining it. 😦 Then he said he didn’t mean to yell, if he had done so, and he was sorry I thought he’d yelled at me. (sigh)
The day progressed with Mike finally sitting in the family room to watch tv. I told him I knew he’d been up really late last night and he needed to be in bed earlier than 1 am. He was not happy with me for saying that, and I told him I was trying to keep him on a good schedule and staying up really late wasn’t helping at all. He finally said okay and ended up going to bed at 9:30 this evening.
