Psalm 34:1I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.

I got 2 hours for me today. It was quite a treat. I dropped Mike off at PT at 9:40 and the lunch guys picked him up at 10:20 and kept him out until noon. I got to drive out to Fernan Lake, I didn’t see any osprey, but I was happy to be out. Then I drove over toward Wolf Lodge Road, and Beauty Bay. Again, no osprey, but a lovely drive.
As I got back towards town, the pharmacy called and I had to pick up a couple of Mike’s prescriptions and then I stopped to get him some cream for his coffee. He was asleep on the sofa when I came in, and even my noise of closing the door to the garage didn’t wake him.
I wanted to head out to Wal-Mart for a little while, but that will have to wait until Monday and I have a ton of other things I need to handle before then. I have decided to have the landscapers work on increasing the sprinkler system, and put in my trees and bushes, etc this year, and we’ll begin the project of the front yard ‘remodel’ next summer. I want to have a small green house set up and I want to have my raised garden beds in place asap. I feel I am behind in several areas and the garden is a major thing for me. I certainly wish Mike were able to do the things he used to do! He would whip out a greenhouse for me in no time at all in the past, and now it’s to late to ask him to do it. I don’t dare want to encourage him to use the power tools , the saws, etc. He’s so unsteady and I would be heartbroken if something happened to him because I asked for something! (sigh)
For now, my main job is to take care of Mike, to the best of my ability; provide for my family; and maintain me. It’s a tall order – I pray I can do it properly, with the Lord’s help and guidance.
