Isaiah 9:6 For unto us a Child is born, Unto us a Son is given; And the government will be upon His shoulder. And His name will be called Wonderful, Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Mike and me at Stonehenge, 26 July 2017 – a day before his 70th birthday
Today we went to the spine center for a check up from Mike’s spinal ablation. They are thinking he might be showing signs of spinal stenosis and if he’s still in a ton of pain over the next 3-4 weeks, they want to do an MRI of his lower spine. 😦 It took 9-10 weeks for his 1st spinal ablation to take full affect and I am hoping that will be the case here.
Mike had a call from the Art Spirit Gallery in Coeur d’Alene; they wanted some of his sculptures for their upcoming show – we got several pieces over to them, and Mike spent a little time doing some touch-up on the painting of them. He only worked about 90 minutes and got to tired to do anymore. So we came home – he’s planning to go back on Friday at noon to finish one piece totally – and we’ll see how it goes overall.
Robert was home this evening, and he helped me hang my baskets of flowers, and then he helped Mike work on the pool – I am thankful he did that, and Mike was thrilled to have him here. While the guys were working on pool our grandson played with a remote control boat in the pool. This boat is only 6 -9 inches long, but the kid gets a lot of enjoyment from it!
It’s another late night, tonight. Mike didn’t want to go to bed at 9, so I stayed up until he went to his room about 10. Getting up at 6 am and trying to go to bed at 10 pm (but usually not making it until 11 pm, or later) makes for really long days. So I am going to shorten this one as much as possible.
