Art Gallery

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light and create darkness, I make peace and create calamity; I, the Lord, do all these things.

Mike on the USS Bowfin, A WWII sub. September 2019

Today went really well, we saw the chiropractor and he ended up using all the time on Mike – because he really needed it. After we finished there, we went to breakfast and then to the Art Spirit Gallery. Mike was finishing painting one of his pieces that needed to be touched up. Seriously, he was quite happy, and content there.

One of the Gallery owners came to me and said they would help me with Mike whenever I needed. They would take him to the gallery and keep him busy, while also keeping an eye on him! That made me tear up, WOW! This is such a blessing. Just knowing they are willing really lightens my heart.

We finished at the gallery, went shopping, and then home. We spent a good part of the afternoon cleaning the patio, and while Mike worked on trying to get the grill working, I pulled weeds, cleaned the chairs, moved pots around and a few other things. I honestly don’t know if he got the grill working. After a while, we came in and relaxed before taking showers.

One theme that is beginning to bug me, Mike is continuously asking about driving. There is a paper the doctor gave me with his driving restrictions on it and he keeps asking for it. I believe it’s in the stuff with the 2020 taxes, and I am going to have to dig though the envelope of medical statements, etc to see if I can relocate that specific paper for him. I think I’ve procrastinated long enough with this, and now I have to get serious about it.

Mike has long since, gone to bed, and now it’s my turn.
