James 3:18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

Mike was up at 9 am, in his robe, and he sat down on the sofa asked what was going on today, I told him he goes to the Bennett House, and he went right to sleep! I begged him to go back to bed, but he flat out refused. I was a little frustrated, it’s what he’s been doing for the last 6 months, or more, and it means I am limited as to the activities I can do because if I disturb him he’s cranky.
I woke him up at 10:30 and told him he had to take his meds and get dressed to be able to leave the house at 11:15. He asked me where were the guys going to go for lunch today. I said, “it’s Friday, you go to the Bennett House.” “oh!” He went to his room, took a shower, and came up at 11:05. He sat down and started to lay down on the sofa and I told him we needed to leave in a few minutes and he responded, “I thought they were picking me up.” “No, Mike. Today is Friday, you go to the Bennett House. You went to lunch yesterday.” “oh,” And he got his jacket, tried to put it on, but the arms were turned inside out, so he draped it over his arm. I took the jacket, fixed the arms, and gave it back to him. We went out to the car.
When we got to the House, he told me to pick him up at 1:30 and I said if I can. I signed him in, and went back home. I was meeting Tami Martinez for lunch at our house and I wanted to be sure and be there before she arrived. We had a wonderful time visiting, drinking tea, and having lunch. Then it was time to pick up Mike.
After we got into the car, Mike told me he wanted a blueberry fritter, so we went to the donut store and got him one. He ate it as soon as we got home. Then he went to the family room to watch tv. I proceeded outside to the garden and I shoveled the soil from the nursery into the 3rd and 4th sections of the garden. Now all is done, beans and gourds are planted, and the rest of the garden looks good.
After doing that part, I went to the front yard and began pulling more stones, and weeds from that planter! I plan on using the stones for the floor of my greenhouse – I’ve purchased it, and Robert has the receipt, but hasn’t picked it up yet (and then it needs to be put together!) I was supposed to have gotten it on Thursday, but that didn’t happen and now I can’t get the receipt back. So on Monday I have to see if I can make some other arrangements to get it, using my phone number to track the purchase. This is maddening!
I finished what I could with the rocks, and weeds, in front. Got my shower, fixed dinner, cleaned the kitchen and did the dishes. Now I have to stay awake until Mike decides to go to bed, and I am so very tired. (This, too, shall pass)
