Getting things handled

Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.

Me and Mike at the Blue Lagoon, near Reykjavik, Iceland.

I was up at 6:30 and downstairs by 7. I sat on the patio, under the gazebo, and drank my tea while I read a book. Then it was time to wake Mike. Mike grumbled as I woke him up at 10:30 and he told me he didn’t want to go to the Bennett House – I told him to take it up with the doctor. Once there he was okay, and they told me he did fine all day with them.

I spent the afternoon on endeavors of my choosing. Not open for sharing at this moment, but I was with Robert and Alycia for the time Mike was not with me. It has been a very long day and I am extremely tired. I don’t know if it’s emotional or just due to the heat; maybe a bit of both.

I got Mike at 3 pm and he wanted to go to Home Depot. He didn’t even notice I was late. He wanted something to make the water faucets flow better, but he couldn’t remember what it was and after 30 minutes of trying to find something that he didn’t remember what it was, he finally gave up and we headed home.

We got here at 3:45, and the pool guy. Rory, showed up at 5. Rory had to reset the timer system for the pool and jacuzzi because Mike had been pushing buttons and shut the whole thing down; which explains why the pool and spa were becoming murky! Rory put a bungie cord across the electrical control unit for the pool and told me he would come by 1x every 2 weeks to keep an eye on stuff. I am thankful for that, because taking care of the pool is not on my list.

The grandkids swam for over an hour today, and after they left, Mike wanted me to sit with him outside on the patio. It was a beautiful evening and I was happy to do that. As we sat there, Mike dozed off, and began to snore and I just sat there and read my book.

I am hoping Mike goes to bed really soon, I am just to tired and I need to go to sleep.
