Psalm 34:14 Seek peace and pursue it
We went to the chiropractor today, and then to Elmer’s for brunch. Mike was so tired, he fell asleep while I was getting my adjustment and he dozed off again at the restaurant. The heat doesn’t help, me; however, in this picture you see him with a lightweight jacket on and a sweater draped over his shoulders. He was so cold his teeth were chattering! He had ordered a fish dinner and enjoyed that very much, but he ate, mostly, with a spoon. The food keeps dropping off a fork
When we were finished with the meal, at first, he wanted to go to JoAnn’s crafts. By the time he got himself into the car, he decided he wanted to go straight home.
Mike went to the family room, and he was sleeping the 2x I checked on him. I used the time to clean up around the house, fold laundry, regular household chores.
About 7 pm I turned the sprinklers on and used the timer Robert had placed on the outside faucet for the area near the front of the house. The sprinkler care service didn’t do as I asked them, and so the 1st section never comes on and now I have to make a point to do that part specifically.
The guy who mows my lawn just told me my bill is $300! I have to have it for him by next Tuesday and the month of July will cost me $240. 😔
At 11 pm I realized the trash still needed to go to the curb, so I had to put my shoes on to take care of that and about 11:15 I finally got my shower.
