Proverbs 17:17 A friend loves at all times
I was happy the temperature had dropped and there was a lovely breeze blowing this morning. I was up at 6:15, Mike slept until 12:30, then he napped on the sofa until almost 2. He went to the family room and turned the TV on, but he slept most of the day.
At 8:30 pm, we took a short drive, but he wanted to go back home and when we got back, he sat on the sofa and slept more, at 9:45 I suggested going to bed, but he refused. He fell asleep sitting up. At 10:15 I woke him and told him it’s time to go to bed; he began talking about camels, and horses. I didn’t understand most of what he was saying, mostly sounded like gibberish, but I got camels and horses. He sat on the sofa, took off his shirt, shoes, and socks and headed for bed.
It took me some time to close down the house, and the washer was almost done, so I waited to get that stuff into the dryer, and finally settling into my evening routine about 11:30 – I am at least an hour behind now, and I’ll still wake up at 6:30 🥴
Mike has been testy each time he’s been awake, today. I hope this isn’t a trend that will continue
