Psalm23:3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake
Mike slept late, again. He didn’t get up until almost noon and he slept on the sofa for a while. I told him a letter had gone to our old address in Worley and they had called for us to go down and pick it up. I’m glad we did. One of Mike’s sculptures had sold and it was a check. I don’t know why the gallery sent it to Worley – they have our address in Coeur d’Alene.
Robert came in and unpacked the bookcase that’s been upstairs for almost a full month, I was hoping it would be finished, or well on the way to being finished, but there are just parts and pieces laying on the floor and stacked around.
So we drove to Worley. We visited for some time with the folks at our old address and after we left Mike wanted to go to Elmer’s. He ended up getting a Belgium waffle with a fried egg on the side.
After we got home, Mike went to get a piece of pie, but dropped the whole thing. I offered to clean it up for him, but he wasn’t agreeable to that. (sigh)
Not much else went on today. It was fairly quiet, and hot. I didn’t even water the garden, it was just to hot to go out, and I think I might have cooked the plants by watering in the full sun!
Tonight I was able to get Mike to bed by 9:30 and I am now able to get myself to bed before 11! This is a good thing.
