Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might

About midnight, last night, Mike got up, said he couldn’t sleep and planned to sleep in the lounge chair. I put a blanket on the chair for him and told him I would cover him with a 2nd blanket. He said okay, but stood in front if the chair. I told him he needed to sit down, but he turned abruptly and with a very angry tone snarled, “DONT TELL ME WHAT TO DO!” I told him I couldn’t cover him while he was standing. He finally sat down and the snatched the edge of the blanket from me. I waited until he seemed settled, made sure he was covered and went back to bed. I heard him get up a couple of hours later, but I didn’t get up with him.
This morning, I woke him at 11 and asked him to go for a drive with me. He said okay, got dressed and came into the living room. I gave him his morning meds, and a cup of coffee and he wanted to leave. I told him okay, and then “you need to zip you jeans” He looked at me, and yelled, “DON’T TELL ME WHAT TO DO!” (sigh) we went on a drive, I called an old friend and made arrangements to meet for lunch. Mike didn’t remember him, at first. Through the whole meal, Russ and I talked, Mike didn’t say much of anything.
we got home, Mike went to sleep for 3 hours, then to watch TV. After a while he came to me and told me he was going to unload the upstairs bookcase to try to move the safe in the hallway. I told him I didn’t want him to do it, and he got upset and told me to quit yelling at him! (There are times I just want to scream with frustration!)
I did get him to go to bed by 9:30 this evening, I was able to finish typing out a new sheet for his meds, and it’s time to go to sleep
