Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who live God, to those who are called according to His purpose
This morning started out with a call from the doctor Mike saw on the 4th. His red blood count is low, and bilirubin is bad. We left to go to the lab to have another blood draw and they were backed up at least 2 hours. So we went to lunch.
After lunch we went to the neurologist who confirmed Mike had a TIA and he’s ordered a bunch of tests, a CAT Scan, MRI, and a couple of other things. Since it’s Friday and all this needs to be approved, nothing will happen before Monday. When I told Mike, “See, I was right to call the paramedics, and you were wrong to yell at me.” The doctor raised an eyebrow and said, “don’t yell at her for caring for you” Mike looked shocked – deer in the headlights type of shock!
Since nothing can happen before Monday, I proceeded to carry out my weekend plans. I had loaded the car last night and as soon as we were done with the doctor, we left for Montana. I’m only 2 hours from home. We checked into our VRBO and set about driving to Thompson Falls. (Just for something to do, rather than sit while Mike sleeps)
When we got back to Plains, we got a pizza, and then back to where we’re staying. Mike hasn’t given me any grief all day. And now he’s asleep. Tomorrow we’re having an adventure!
