Hebrews 4:16 Let us then approach the throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need
I didn’t get much sleep last night, this must be part of getting older?, anyway, I still had to function today. Mike needed some pants, and shorts, that fit him properly, so I took him shopping. He got 3 pairs of shorts, and 2 jeans. He tried everything on, and it exhausted him. His weight has dropped drastically from January and he’s lost 4″ off his waistline. We got home and he napped, nothing new there, and then he began to rant about the safe. He wants to rent a power saw to cut it opened! I told him no. He got P.O’d with me and started yelling “For 32 years I handled all kinds of issues and men, and I’ve never had a problem” I told him, “but you didn’t have this problem then, and the doctor said no power tools, so you have to get him to say okay before I’ll let you.” This did not make him happy.
He told me he wasn’t hungry and was going to bed; he was up and down several times, and finally settled about 8:45. That’s when I fixed me an iced coffee. It was delicious with 1/2 a teaspoon of vanilla sugar added.
I spent a little bit of time cleaning my kitchen counters, and I got the dishes into the dishwasher, the rest of the kitchen will have to stay as it is for now. I really dislike my kitchen to be messy, but I’m to tired to deal with it tonight.
It’s finally cooling off a tad, and I hope I get a restful, uninterrupted, sleep tonight.
