1 Thessalonians 5:8 But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.
I was so excited for today. Seveal weeks ago I paid for a lake cruise on Lake Ponderay and today was the day. I got up, and ready to go, and I waited for the right time to wake Mike so we could take off. He didn’t want to go, he basically slept all day. When he said he didn’t feel up to it, I was hoping if he slept another hour he’d be more ready. Nope. So, after he went back to bed at 12:30, I changed my clothes and worked in my garden, got stung by a yellow jacket; worked on the room inside the house until I was drenched in sweat and Mike slept. At 3 pm he got up and asked me why I was still awake – he thought it was 3 am. I told him it was afternoon, and he argued with me for a while, then went back to bed. At 6 he got up to make coffee, he put the filter basket into the pot full of water and couldn’t get the basket to sit up – it kept falling over. I walked in to help him and he got very angry telling me he’s been making coffee for years and he can do it. I told him he needed some help and I fixed things together for him and he was royally P.O’d! (sigh)
It was to hot to cook, so I ordered a pizza, that Robert picked up for us, and Mike only had 1 1/2 slices, then he went to bed for the night.
I will call the AC place tomorrow to see if they have the part yet. Ugh! When it’s 95 outside and 102 inside, it’s hard to get anything accomplished.
