Proverbs 21:3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice.

The AC is still out, and the insurance company says it’ll be another 2 weeks for the part to get to the repairman π³π‘ It is so hot, it’s almost unbearable- but they sit in their air condition offices and they don’t care! (That may not be true, but it sure seems like it!)
Mike fell off a step in the garage going to the car. He has a deep abrasion on his arm, but has refused to allow me to look at it. He was dripping blood on his clothes, the car, and down his arm by the time we got to the Bennett House. He let the ladies there take care of him. Tonight, before he went to bed at 8 pm, his arm was still bleeding.
On August 2 or 3 he lost his balance getting out of a trailer and tripped on a 2×4. There is a knot that’s formed on the top of his left hand between the thumb and forefinger. The doctor looked at it on the 4th, said if it got bigger to let him know. It’s bigger. So I called today, and the charge nurse has arranged to get Mike in to see the doctor at 11:30 tomorrow morning.
Mike slept the whole time he was at the Bennett House, something he’s done for the last 3x there. It will be good to get some answers on why he’s suddenly sleeping so much, and why he’s almost refusing to eat.
The heat in the house makes me sleepy, but he was in air conditioning for a good portion of the middle of the day and he still slept.
When we’d gotten home at 3, Robert was preparing to hang my picture Angel with Heart and within an hour it was hung, and some touch up wall paint was completed.
I have gotten several items removed from the room on the main floor, and yet, I donβt think it will be completed by Wednesday. We have an in-home interview for guardianship of Mike, court ordered. After Robert and I talk with her, we will set an appointment for Mike to talk with her. We’ve also been given a court date, for November with a Judge to make the final determination of Mike’s needed care. I pray all goes smoothly, and the cost doesn’t break me!
