Colossians 3:2 Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.

It was a typical start to the day, up, tea, sit quietly. Then I remembered the cantaloupe I picked last week. The scent from it was divine! Yummm. I cut it open and scooped out the seeds – saving them for next year’s planting. It was juicy, and the taste was wonderful. This was a nice change for breakfast. And for the last 3 days I’ve had no bread, and no stomach cramps – hmmmm🤔
Mike went to lunch with the guys, and I ran to the pharmacy and then the market. I got the stuff to make stroganoff for dinner.
I got home just before Mike, and he laid on the sofa about 1 and slept until I woke him for dinner at 6:30. He likes to sit in the sofa with a TV tray in front of him, instead of at the table, I dont care as long as he eats something. He took 3 or 4 small bites, told me he was exhausted and not hungry. He just wanted to go to bed. I said okay and before I could help him, he was moving the tv tray and his plate landed upside down on the carpet (sigh) he was beginning to get agitated about dropping the plate, and I told him not to worry, I would clean it up. He walked back and forth from the spill to the kitchen a few times, so I told him he could sit down I had it handled. He finally sat down, and fell asleep. I finished cleaning up the plate of food, and got rid of the mess, then I encouraged him to go to his room for the night. 15 minutes later I went to check and he was asleep, but his door was opened; I closed the door, went back upstairs and shut down everything for the night. Doors locked, alarms set, and dishwasher running
I decided I needed an early night so by 8:30 I had gotten my shower, and now it’s time for the last light to go off
