EEphesians2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through face and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God
Today was emotional. Mysister, Lisa, left at 8 am to head back home. I loved having her here with me. I loved our visits and memories. I will deeply miss her.
After she left this morning I had, maybe 45 minutes before Mike got up. He needed help getting his shoes on, and he wanted oatmeal for breakfast. After that was done, I had to help him find the tv remote, his glasses, he needed help with the microwave, where are the earphones for the TV? He needs an extra blanket, but it’s to hot, turn on a fan!
Then he accused me of hiding something, or someone, in the basement. And the door is locked so he won’t find out! (sigh) He wouldn’t believe me when I told him it was locked to keep him from falling down the stairs. I got the key and took him downstairs and he checked out each room and finally agreed there was nothing, and noone, hiding.
He decided to grab his scale to take back up with him and he wanted another blanket. Whatever!
Once we got upstairs he decided it was bedtime. He needed help getting his socks, and his jeans, off. Finally he was ready to climb into bed. I covered him, kissed his forehead, turned out the lights and closed his door.
Now I am ready to say goodnight.
