Romans 8:31 Is what, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?
Mije was only up 2x last night, and that was good. I woke up at 6:45 and I laid in bed enjoying the warm and comfort. We didn’t have anyplace to go, or anywhere we needed to be. It was lovely to lay there. At 7:30 I got a call from a friend, Cindy. She told me another friend, Stephanie, had to take her husband into the ER last night. He was having trouble breathing. (He doesn’t have c0vid) He has other health issues and needs prayer.
Anyway, I got up about 7:45 and got ready for the day. Mike slept. I had a cup of tea, and an English muffin, and Mike slept. I cleaned up after myself, swept the floor, and Mike slept. I dusted the furniture and made another cup of tea, and Mike slept!
Mike got up about 1 and immediately fell asleep on the sofa. At 2 he asked for breakfast, so I made oatmeal with fresh strawberries. He ate it all! 😁 My neighbor, JoAnn came over and we visited for 90 minutes; after she left Mike wanted to go to Elmer’s for dinner. He had the fish & chips.
Once back at the house, Mike’s sister called and said she’d be here around 9:30 tonight, and after Mike went to bed, I stayed up to greet Vicki and to show her which room she’d be sleeping in. We talked until 10:45. I have to get up at 6 to shut off the house alarm so she can take her dog out.
Tonight a frost/freeze prediction is stated, so I covered the tomato plants and adjusted the water away from them. I still am hoping for a few more to ripen. The others I will pick and place in a cool, dry room to slowly ripen through the winter months.
I have the feeling I am forgetting something major, but I don’t know what it is. I am to tired to stay awake to figure it out.
